At a young age, he was taken in by one of the wealthy and trained to fight in the Bloodsands. He fought throughout his teenage years, eventually meeting his now-lover Alaison Tyrson, an experienced paladin and fellow gladiator. Toward the end of his teenage years, he was eventually able to escape the Bloodsands, and has since spent his time adventuring across Eorzea together with Alaison.

Main Timeline

  • Origin: Raised in an orphanage in Ul'dah.

  • Early Adolescence: Taken off the streets by one of the Ul'dahn nobles and trained to fight in the Bloodsands. Eventually climbs through the ranks as the "Crimson Tiger."

  • Mid Teens: Meets Alaison through the Bloodsands. Begins training alongside her.

  • Late Teens: Recruited to the Hellfire Club. Abruptly retires from the Bloodsands and "disappears."

  • Early 20s: Runs into Magnus when he's in Ul'dah for work. Turns out Magnus was a fan of him during his Bloodsands days. Kyrien hasn't been able to get rid of him since... (not that he's complaining)
